
ABOUT HANI
Hani Sparks is a qualified equine behavioural scientist, with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Equine Behavioural Science from Writtle University College.
With an international background, growing up in countries including Zambia, Taiwan, Singapore, and the UK, not only gave her a wide exposure to many welfare issues but also fostered an open-minded approach to training, inspiring her to advocate for improving the quality of life for all horses.

With her years of experience, Hani has gained insight into the individuality of many horses worldwide and the impact that different management strategies can have on their well-being and behaviour, many of which were able to be enhanced through a better understanding of how horses learn and what horses need. Working with owners to promote positive management practices for every horse in a feasible and comfortable way is the main motivation behind Sparks Equine.



Hani has been awarded a Bachelor or Science with Honours for Equine Behavioural Science along with 2 student spotlight awards by Writtle University College for Community Excellence.
Additionally Hani was presented with the 'International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants (IAABC) award for the best consultancy performance in the final year of BSc (Hons) Equine Behavioural Scince.

Hani is now working towards becoming an accredited IAABC certified behavioural consultant, and therefore her work aligns with their code of ethics.
