BEHAVIOUR CONSULTANCY
How Can I Help?
Numerous horses display undesired or problematic behaviours, many indicating a bigger underlying issue. To effectively tackle behavioural challenges, it is crucial to find their root causes, as this enables us to understand what the horse is trying to tell us and we can therefore select the most suitable approach for resolution. This takes time, patience and a thorough investigation to uncover what the behaviours we see are really telling us.
Whilst many problems can be rectified through minor management adjustments, others require more time and retraining. Each case is unique and requires a tailored approach. Through positive reinforcement training we aim to create long term behavioural changes rather than a short term fix.
